The Jeweler

I have been working in the jewelry industry since Christmas 1989....when my mother gave me a box of wire, stones, tools and a dream. Within the year I had my first business, a source of income throughout my college years, and a desire to learn everything about jewelry.

Since then, I have taken every opportunity to hone my craft, mostly through nontraditional routes. I am primarily self taught through reading as well as trial and error. When the opportunity has presented itself, I have taken classes to advance my skills beyond what I could learn on my own. I now use several high tech options to fulfill my customers' desires, including laser welding technology and CAD model imaging.

I am blessed to do what I love and to do it well. I hope to share my passion with you.

The Jewelry

What defines custom jewelry depends on who you talk to. Sometimes it is sizing a ring from the case and setting a stone the customer chose. Other times it is ordering and modifying an existing piece. Optimally it is creating from thin air the exact piece you want. I have tried to showcase examples of my work here. Many are truly custom pieces, fabricated from metal stock or created in wax or CAD to a customer's specifications. Others fall under the remaining categories. I do not take credit for them being my designs but I do take credit for making them beautiful.

The Hands

I think the one thing people comment most on
is my hands.
Making jewelry does not make pretty hands.
But the hands tell a story, one of my favorites .........
